Other places to stay
Plan and enjoy your trip to New York's Finger Lakes region. These resources will get you started. As you plan your stay, located on the east side of Cayuga Lake, the Paddle Up retreat will be taking place out of Myers Park in Lansing, NY.
“Talking with you is always uplifting and inertia-prodding, which is exactly what I’ve been needing lately. You gave me much to brainstorm over the weekend.”
With her incredible guidance and positive energy, Christa helped me clear the most significant obstacle in my life - my fear of failure. As a result of her coaching, I now have a deeper level of self-awareness. She helped me create the space for authenticity in my choices, with the clarity to peel away the muddiness of societal pressure and social noise. She helped me to see my blind spots, inspired me to go deeper, and challenged my old belief system and the narrative I've been telling myself. In essence - she is an amazing coach. A true gift.”
“Christa’s ability to pull ideas and solutions from me continued to amaze me. I came into this coaching thinking there were no clear answers, yet with her guidance, it all became very clear. From there a path was created and I was on my way! I cannot say enough good things about Christa’s coaching.”
Our nation is making great strides to work toward getting our lives back to some sort of normal. For our 2021 programming, our coaches and program coordinators will require following the NYS Health Department and CDC guidelines related to COVID. The Cayuga Lake Inn & Villa has several rooms that have a separate access.
Before travelling to the Ithaca/Tompkins County region we recommend you check for any travel advisories and protocol. Paddle Up will follow local regulations with respect to travel, business practices and physical distancing. In order to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and limit the risk of infection, we will be implementing pre-trip screening procedures, increased on-trip sanitization and personal hygiene, and maintaining physical distancing guidelines while on a trip whenever possible.
If you are flying, there will be screening protocols in place when embarking and disembarking your flights. If you are travelling internationally, there will be additional protocols and conditions in place at the border when passing through customs and it is your responsibility to be prepared for any conditions put in place by the United States.
PREVENTING THE SPREAD
To ensure everyone’s health and safety while on trip, participants will be asked to follow sanitization measures at all times including:
Hand Hygiene, Respiratory Hygiene, Food Handling, Handling Personal Equipment, and following instructions from your coaches or team leader who has been trained to ensure COVID-19 health and safety protocols are followed properly.
In addition, we will practice specific cleaning details for equipment, accommodations, and dining facilities.
Hand sanitizer will be provided wherever possible in accommodations, dining and workshop areas.
Paddle Up Retreat will adhere to physical distancing guidelines to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 during this time. Examples of physical distancing protocol include:
Assisting to find other accomodations to women who prefer not to share with a roommate
Working closely with accommodation providers to ensure single room upgrades are available to all who prefer this option
Women sharing rooms will maintain the same roommate throughout the retreat
Reminding all participants to maintain a 6 feet distance between anyone they are in contact with during the retreat
Masks are advised to be worn whenever 6 feet physical distancing cannot be maintained and must be worn while inside
Avoid crowds wherever possible
